DESPATCH ADVICE MESSAGE
Definition
A message specifying details for goods to be delivered.
Principles
a. The recommended business practice is that one purchase order is placed for one delivery in one location at one time. This simplifies the processing of messages by applications and references in despatches, invoices and purchase order change requests. This means that for each different location and/or delivery date a separate order will be used.
b. It is recommended to use only one type of despatch advice for each interchange.
c. Address data of supplier and customer are mandatory.
