ISO 4217
This is a list of global currencies and the three-character currency codes which generally used to represent them. Often, but not always, this code is the same as the ISO 4217 standard.
In most cases, the currency code is composed of the country's two-character Internet country code plus an extra character to denote the currency unit. For example, the code for Canadian Dollars is simply
In the attachment there is a complete currency list consists of two columns: one contains currencies sorted by the geographical areas in which they are used, and the other contains currencies sorted by their three-letter code. Why is the first column longer? Simply because many places do not have their own currency, or choose to use the currencies of one or more other counties. In addition, some places are widely known by multiple names. Please note that all currency names below are listed in their plural form.
